He holds degrees in Economics (BSc), and Law (LLB Hon.) both from Fourah Bay College, bringing a combined legal and commercial perspective to his practice.

Aside from his deep interest in high-end and complex litigation, as a pupil barrister, his training and practice have focused on corporate, commercial, contract, and property law with a fine blend of Criminal Law. He has assisted senior lawyers in case law analysis, legislative review, drafting contracts and agreements, and supporting negotiations and transactions on project finance, cooperate finance, mergers and acquisitions etc.

Mr. Bona’s background in economics strengthens his approach to legal work, enabling him to balance legal precision with practical business and economic considerations.
