He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the superior Courts of Judicature of the Republic of Sierra Leone. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) Degree from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, and also completed his studies for his Bar License (BL) from the Council for Legal Education, Sierra Leone Law School.

During his final year of LLB, he was also awarded the Best Law Student at the Student Representative Council’s Excellence Awards.

In the course of his practice, he has undertaken diverse legal tasks such as drafting and reviewing international commercial facility agreements, banking and finance agreements, and reviewing securities for loan agreements. He has also assisted in the development and drafting of legal opinions, multi-jurisdictional financial and Energy Agreements, and has advised on and facilitated mining and export licensing processes for clients.

Additionally, he has also worked on matters pertaining to Employment Law, Admiralty Law, and Energy Law, including, but not limited to, the preparation of submissions of proposals with external partners as a bid for a World Bank energy project in Sierra Leone. He also enjoys being an advocate in both criminal and civil litigation.

Mr. Kallon has advised on a range of legal matters, with experience in corporate law, including company incorporation, share transfers, and due diligence on corporate entities, as well as adoption and custody issues. He maintains a strong professional interest in civil and criminal law and procedures, international law, real estate and conveyancing, energy, natura7l resources and environmental law, arbitration, human rights, technology, Admiralty and Maritime law and other areas of general legal practice.

For a period of over 2 years (2023-mid 2025), he worked under the direct supervision of the Vice Chairperson of the Trust Fund for Victims of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and Principal Defender of the Residual Special Court of Sierra Leone and has consistently demonstrated a passion for law and a strong aptitude for legal research and analysis which has equipped him with a solid foundation in various areas of law.
